  3. Source:Wheeler, Albert Gallatin. Genealogical and Encyclopedic History of the Wheeler Family in America, p. 51, identifies Minot Wheeler's wife as "dau. of Benjamin Farley and Lucy (---) Farley", b. 23 Apr 1783. The Sarah Farley born on the given date was the daughter of Ebenezer and Betty Farley. Meanwhile, the daughter of Benjamin was born 2 Jun 1781. The age at death of Minot's wife agrees with the 1783 birth. Also, the 1860 census in Hollis shows "Spinster" Sarah F Farley, daughter of Benjamin, still unmarried, living with her two widowed sisters (Clarissa F. Eaton and Elizabeth F Hardy). Wheeler has confused the two Sarah Farleys.
