    am looking for information on Sarah Darity. She is buried in Monroe Co., Indiana under a stone that reads:"Sarah Darity, wife of John Tate", then indicates dates of 1768 to 1836.Her son, John Tate, was born in 1794 in Virginia, then moved to Tennessee where he married Susanna Cary and had the first four of his eight children before moving to Monroe Co., In in 1822.
    Any help identifying Sarah's family will be appreciated.

    Sarah Darity was the wife of John Tate, who she divorced in Russell Co., Va. After the divorce, she and her son, also named John Tate moved to Claiborne Co., Tn, then on to Monroe Co., Indiana in 1822. I don't know if Darity (Daugherty?) is her maiden name or a subsequent married name.
