In volume 1, page 61, of Births, Marriages and Deaths in the Windsor Town Clerk's Office the date of marriage is given as April 16, 1647. The question of Sara Cook’s parentage remains unsolved. … [footnote] Nathaniel Cook of Windsor was an appraiser of her estate. Savage in his Genealogical Dictionary of New England, vol. 4. p. 32, conjectures that she may have been Nathaniel’s sister but no evidence to connect them has been discovered."
