    Mrs. Sarah E. Davis

    Prescott, KS-- Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Davis, 87, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her son, Ernest Edd Davis, of 5 miles southwest of Prescott.

    The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Colvin, she was born Oct. 10, 1869 in Illinois. She was married Dec. 31, 1890 to Aaron Worthington Davis at Keosaqua, Iowa. She had lived in Prescott vicinity for the past 37 years. Another son, Carl Davis of LaCygne survives. There are four grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Prescott Methodist Church, with the Rev. Wilmer Potter, conducting. Burial will be in Prescott Cemetery. The Tornedon Funeral Home, Pleasanton, is in charge.
