White, Sarah C., daughter of Benj. and Delilah Wise Byerly, born near Jonesboro, Tenn., Oct. 27, 1842, died Oct. 14, 1923. She married John R. White Dec. 6, 1866. In 1876 they moved to Auglaize County, Ohio, where she resided till the time of her death. Her husband died Feb. 9, 1905. There were eight children, one of whom died in infancy. In 1877 she united with the Church of the Brethren and lived a faithful Christian life. Her family and her church were her chief concern, and she devoted to these interests the full strength of her life. Services by Bro W. D. Landes at the home. Ruby Byerly, Lima, Ohio.
In 1923 W.D. Landes was in N.W. Ohio at Lima and Sugar Creek congregations...
