BURNAM, Sarah, d. Nathan[ie]ll and Unice, bp. 30 : 1 m : 1712. [Note: In old-styles dates, the first month is March. More info may be found here.]
That Sarah m. Cooley Smith is documented by marriage record and her mother's probate file, and they had 8 children recorded in Ipswich, followed by 2 more in Middleton, Mass., the last in 1758. Source:Massachusetts Magazine : A Quarterly Magazine Devoted to Massachusetts History, Genealogy, and Biography, Vol. 4, p. 122, claims Sarah m. (2) Solomon Wood, but there is no record of Solomon Wood having a wife named Sarah, and this appears to be strictly an erroneous assumption based on Solomon Wood being the executor of Sarah's mother's will. However, he was probably unrelated, as it is doubtful she would choose a son-in-law when all her bequests went to children of her sons, and her daughters' children were not so mentioned.
