In the Biographical Memoirs of Jay County, Sarah is described as the "wife of Dora (Theodore) Walling, of Franklin, Indiana".

Obituary from Find a Grave site:
"Mrs. Sarah Jane Walling, 75, widow of Theodore R. Walling, died at 8:45 o'clock last night at the family home, 312 Gharkey street, following a short illness. Mrs. Walling was born in Jay County and had been a resident of Muncie for the past 27 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Miss Lois Marie Walling, at home; three sons, Arthur Walling of Evanston, Ill., Clifton Walling of Crestwood, N.Y., and Ray Walling of Des Moines, Ia.; three grandchildren; one brother, John Bair of Flint, Mich. ; and a nephew, Muncie Mayor Rollin H. Bunch. The body was removed to the Meeks mortuary. Funeral arrangements will be completed today."


Note: Brother John V Bair was indeed living in Genesee Michigan where Flint is located and nephew Rollie Bunch is named in sister Mary R Bair Bunch's 1900 Census.
