↑ Note the will of Joshua Osgood in 1761 (Middlesex Probate case 36) names daughter Sarah Goodwin and grand-daughter Hannah Osgood. The grand-daughter is not a child of Christopher and Sarah, but is the daughter of Hannah Abbott who married Phineas Osgood and died in 1753. Christopher's widow Sarah (Abbott) Osgood m. (2) James Goodwin. No marriage record is found, but this is shown by a Middlesex deed (Vol 51, p. 81): 9 Apr 1750: James Goodwin of Worcester Housewright "and Sarah Goodwin his wife (Whereas Christopher Osgood late of Billerica deceased, by his last Will and Testament, did give unto the abovesaid Sarah his wife one third part of his Real Estate" sell the same to William Stickey and Thomas Kidder executors of Christopher's will for £249.10.8.
