Times, The (Trenton, NJ) - March 22, 2009 Deceased Name: [OBITUARY] Sandra W. Brown HIGHTSTOWN - Sandra W. Brown, 67, of Hightstown passed away Thursday at home.

Born in Ohio, she was a longtime resident of Cranbury before moving to Hightstown in the 1990s.

After completing her studies at Dickinson College, Sandy, along with her husband, Thomas, relocated to Cranbury where they co-owned and operated the Cranbury Press from 1969 until the mid 1970s. Following the sale of the Cranbury Press, they established Cranbury Publications. Following Thomas' death in 1986, Sandy continued to run the business until the late 1990s.

In her early years, Sandy worked as a 7th-8th grade elementary school teacher at Cranbury Elementary, and later as a teacher at West Windsor Plainsboro High School. Currently she was employed at Shop-Rite of East Windsor as a customer service representative.

Wife of the late Thomas C. Brown and sister of the late Anne; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Campbell and Kay Brown; a sister, Janet of Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 on Tuesday at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 North Main St., Cranbury.

Interment will follow in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.

Relatives and friends may call 1-3pm and 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
