Samuel lived in Little Compton on the west road on the place owned in 1870 by Isaac G. Wilber and late by his son Philip. His will dated 27 Feb 1749/1750 and proved 30 May 1752: "To wife lizabeth use of all of my lands, housing, orchard, and meadows in Little Compton. To son Robert all my lands, housing and orchard in the town of Dartmouth, Mass., where he now dwells. To son Thomas 50 pounds; to son Abishag 750 pounds; to daughters Susannah Tripp, Mary Davol and Elizabeth Moesher, 50 pounds apiece; to daughters Ruth and Joanna each 60 pounds and a feather bed with furniture; one fourth of all my lands in Little Compton to each of my four sons Esek, Samuel, Ebenezer and David.."
