    "14 Samuel3 Wheat (Joshua2, Moses1) was born July 31, 1677 at Concord, Mass. and died in 1735 in Bermuda, ae 58. He married 1) Lydia _____, who died Apr. 6, 1720 ae 44 and is buried at Needham, Mass. … He married 2) Nov. 8, 1720, Mary Chadwick who survived him and married 2) at Springfield, Henry Gilbert of Brookfield, Mass., son of Thomas Gilbert of Springfield. Samuel Wheat was a physician, gained distinction in his profession and acquired a fair estate. He owned land in several towns, and resided in turn in Concord, Newton, Water town, Needham, Cambridge and Roxbury, Mass. … It has not been discovered why Dr. Wheat was in Bermuda at his death, nor where he is buried, but Mary Wheat of Watertown, widow of Dr. Samuel Wheat late of Bermudas in the West Indies asked for administration on the estate, and on Aug. 1, 1735 Dr. Samuel Wheat of Newton (his son) was appointed administrator. (Suffolk Co. Probates). The widow accepted £166. as her dowry. The remainder was divided into five equal parts — two for Samuel, who must pay all debts, and one for each of his brothers, who would be Salmon, Benjamin, and Solomon."
