Children (Ward) of Proctor Darling and Acenath (Palmer):
Samuel Proctor b. 8 Dec 1848 in Cambridge Mass [CambridgeMAVR 1:732; 1900CenB]; he d. after 1925 when he was farming in Bradford [WmWardGen461]. He resided with his maternal grandmother in 1880 in Bradford and with his brother Clarence in 1900 [1880CenB, 1900CenB.] He m. Jean B. after 1900 [1900CenB] who was b. in 1891 in Moose River, NS, Canada [CemNP; TRVR37] and d. Feb 1937 in Keene [ibid]. He was a laborer in Bradford in 1898 [MerrCoDir1898:499]. They are buried in New Pond Cemetery.
[Note: birth recorded as 1846 at time of birth, and most records are consistent with that. 1900 census shows 1848 and this sources apparently chose to use that over all the others infromation, but that does not seems likely given all the sources, including the gravestone, that say otherwise. The marriage appears to be wholly assumption based on burial in the same cemetery with the surname and the most cursory check shows it to be untrue: never listed with a wife in census; gravestone lists her as wife of Ralph, as does her death record (on the reverse side).]
