Samuel bp. 6 July 1615. Possibly he is the same "Samuel Wayte" who was granted a "great Lott" by the town of Boston at Mount Wollaston (now Braintree, Mass.) for four heads on 29 Jan 1637/8, the same day as Richard Wait was also granted a lot there for five heads (Boston Record Commissioners' Report, 2 [3d ed, 1902]; Town Recs:31)
