Dear Penny: Your Samuel Vanaman was born 16 Aug 1714 (Trinity Protestant Episcopal Church of Swedesboro, NJ 1600-1900 page-13). With Sarah they had 6 children - Deborah b. 14 Jan 1753, Samuel b. 20 Mar 1757, Lucas b. 8 Mar 1759, Catherine b. 15 Mar 1762, Elias b. 12 Feb 1765 and Rebecca b. 7 Jan 1768 (VanNeman Family by Frederick S. Crispin and Vanneman Chart by Frederick S. Crispin), (285 Years of the VanImman (Vanaman) Family in North America by Norman Harvey Vanaman page-45). Your Samuel is the son of Samuel and Margaret(Samuel d. 23May1731). They had Olaf b. cJan1713, Peter b. ?, Samuel b. 16 Aug 1714, Margaret b. 1716, Eric b. 1718, Jonas b. 22 Dec 1721, Gabriel b. 7 Jan 1724, David b. 26 Dec 1727 and John b. ?. The references for this is the same as above with the exception of 285 Years of the VanImman Family. The Samuel that married Margaret is the son of Garret and Deborah (Crispin references and Isreal Helm 1627-1701/2 by Martha Helms Bates page-217) If I can be of any further help just let me know.
