The source for the edit for the place of birth for Samuel Somerville, Sr. #202333089 is three family trees that state his place of birth as Fermanagh, Ulster (or Connacht), Ireland. In two of the family trees, Fermanagh and Connacht are phonetically spelled. The Somerville surname is of Scottish and Norman origin - not a traditional Irish surname. The Irish province of Ulster {Northern Ireland] was heavily settled by non-Catholic Scottish families by the invitation of the English. Fermanagh was also an ancient Gaelic kingdom. Connacht was a kingdom.
