[Note: there is no other Samuel and Hannah having children in Sutton or elsewhere in Massachusetts, nor any marriage found of a Samuel Small to wife Hannah. Capt. Samuel Small of Sutton and Millbury m. Molly/Mary Waters in 1772 and named their first daughter Hannah, and Mary was his wife until her death in 1784. It is suspected the the use of Hannah in this baptism is confusion with the daughter. It is presumed that this is the same Samuel whose birth is recorded in 1775, but that child could have died young and this could be the survivor?]
