Disputed Parentage

Some researchers believe that this Samuel Peery, born April 1784 and died 18 September 1836, was the son of James Peery and Jane Ferris, but the "North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000" clearly has him as the son of James Peery and Ellen Dennis. [Vol. VIII, No. 1, January 1917, Pg. 25]
