    'SAMUEL [son of James and Sarah (Stone) Kilbourn], b. in Kitley, Leeds county ; m. Mindwell Buckman, and settled at Frankville, in his native town. They have five or six children.'

    Given that this was written when Samuel was still alive, based on research largely carried out by correspondence with extended family, it is likely more accurate in identifying his parents than the Griswold Family book.
