Because it is appointed for all men once to dye, & the days of men in this world are but like a shadowe y't soone departeth, Therefore, I Samuell Holly doe make this my last will. Effects to my loving wife, except Tenn acres of land to my soone according to a former writing, and the remaining part of the inclosed lott to goe to my sonne & his heirs; to goe after ye decease of my wife, but she to haue ye vse & possession thereof, during her life. To my soone one blue [black] stuffe Sutte of apparall, one hatt one pr of shoos; all other lands & goods I giue to my wife, whom I doe make my sole Exectu'r. This 22th of October, 1643.
