During the process of removing it from a family to which it does not belong, being 20 years past any other child, sources have been added for the birth and death, but they do not actually appear to belong to the same person. Vermont Vital Records show a marriage Newfane 1795 to Mitty Harris, Townshend 1809 to Lydia Walker, death of Mrs. Holland Newfane 1822, and another marriage Newfane 1823 to Polly Phillips. Without supporting evidence, this appears to be one Samuel Holland of Newfane, with two wives: Mitty and Polly, and another of Townshend with wife Lydia. Alternately if only a single person as posted, the first two wives would appear to have been conflated into one...
