Family was in 1880 census in Lawrence, Co, AL with Allie 19, John 16, Thomas 12, Roberts 9. Family lived in TX 1894. Obit from Moulton Advertiser 1896 Lawrence Co. AL: Father of 9 children, 8 of whom lived to be grown and married: but only 5 survive him. He leaves behind a wife and 2 grand children, both orphans, (that was the family at the time of his death). One was probably Alla's 7 yr old boy.

    Samuel was the father of 9 children, 8 of whom lived to be grown and married: but only 5 survive him. Our brother leaves behind a wife and 2 grand children, both orphans, that constituted the family at the time of his death.
