He m. second, July 26, 1681, Rebecca Merriam. He d. 1684. His widow Rebecca m. Aug. 19, 1685, Joseph Dustin [Dutton]. In his will he commits his only surviving child, Samuel to the care of Robert Avery, who married a sister of his first wife.
