Samuel Dobson married Cyntha Willoughby in Owen County, Indiana. He died there about 1877.

Many posts here lead me to believe that this Samuel was the son of Samuel Dobson Sr. of Greene County. I believe that Samuel Senior is the son of Joseph Dobson and Mary Getty/Gettys of Rowan County, North Carolina.

According to court papers I have, Samuel (of Owen County, Indiana), had siblings (1) Eleanore who married David Kerr/Carr, and (2) Diademma who married William Newton Fain.
