'SAMUEL, born about 1674; died Bellingham, MA 17 February 1744, age 70 years 11 months (BVR, 183) Although the History of Bellingham implies that this Samuel was the son of John [son of Dennis], his age, if correctly stated, makes this impossible. It is likely that his Samuel was an unrecorded son of Dennis and Hannah.'

  5. It appears that the transcription of Samuel's death may be incorrect, and that it should be 17 February 1774, age 79 years 11 months. This information would make sense for John's son Samuel, who was born Mar 1693/94.
