[Note: the author is a cousin, 6 years younger than this Samuel. This seems to be one of the few sources of information on this family, and appears to have been copied/miscopied by most other sources. For example, Source:General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Mayflower Families through Five Generations, Vol. 20 (Henry Samson), part 3, p. 205, gives this Samuel a sibling named George due to mis-parsing the passage in this source, and mistaking the son of Samuel as a sibling. A Find A Grave memorial having no gravestone image or cited sources repeats all these dates, but miscopies the marriage date of 1844 as 1814, when the husband was only 5 years old.]
