Samuel was called "Seargent". 2. Samuel, with his wife Priscilla, were admitted to the First Church of Stonington, Connecticut July 15, 1705.3. For the courtship of Samuel and Priscilla, see "David Alden's Daughter", written by Jane Austin. Samuel and Priscilla were married by W. Woodworth, J. P.

Samuel Chesebrough made his will January 19, 1735. It was probated April 12, 1736 in Stonington. He mentions "my wife Priscilla, my son Amos, my daughter Mary Hewitt, Priscilla Palmer and Hannah Shaw"
