    Will of "Samuel Ball of Warwick ... yeoman", dated 25 Aug 1794, proved 16 Sep 1799, names wife Sarah ["all the household furniture that shall then Remain that she brought with her att marriage"]; second son Samuel; my four sons namely John Samuel Steven and David Ball; my three daughters namely Salley ["wife to Joseph Williams"] Lucy ["wife to Hezekiah Hubbard Ripley"] and Eunice. Son Samuel to be executor.
    12 Sep 1799: Assent of heirs, signed by Widow Sarah Ball, John Ball, Joseph Williams, Salla Williams, Stephen Ball, Eunice Ball, David Ball.

  4. Allred offers no suggestion as to his parents. The birth in 1734 and naming the first two children Mary and John, might suggest he is the son of John Ball and Mary Clark [not Mary Benjamin as Bond shows, see The Children of Two John Balls of Watertown ] of Watertown, b. 24 Aug 1734. After John Ball married again, he moved to Worcester, and the will of John Ball, dated 9 Jan 1756, mentions son Samuel.
