    [There is a Samuel Abbott of Charlestown that has some land dealings in Northfield, but he appears too old to be this Samuel, and this is the first deed attributable to this Samuel.]

  5. The Find A Grave memorial page lists his parents as Family:Abraham Abbott and Betty Ormsbee (1). While this makes sense (named after grandfather, parents lived in Warwick for some time), no sources are given and none found (no birth record in Warwick, no probate for father), so it is unknown if this is assumption or based on something more substantial.
