    OUSDALE, Sigurd "Sig," age 96, who resided at 2300 Xenia St., passed away at his residence Tues., April 16th, (1985). He had been a resident of Whatcom County for 78 years & was a retired shingle weaver. He leaves to survive his wife, Alice Ousdale of Bellingham; 2 sons, Sherman & wife Elizabeth of Acme, Tom & wife Barbara of Seattle; 1 daughter, Shirley Payne of Edmonds; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews in Norway. Family visitation will be Thursday, 12 noon-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 20th at 1 p.m. in the Jerns LeVeck Chapel with interment to follow in Saxon Cemetery, Rev. Stanley Dokken officiating. [born Aug. 8, 1888 Sirdalen, Norway; lived in MN; built service station at the "coal mine bridge" on NW Ave.; worked Morana Mill at Acme]
