1. Came to Santa Fe with wife and infant son in 1695 as part of the group of settlers in the Juan Paez Hurtado expedition. These settlers were organized from the Zacatecas region to supplement the recolonization by Vargas.

Salvador, age 20, enrolled on 4 January 1695, along with his wi fe, Juana de Sosa ("Spaniard"), and son Juan Felipe, age 1. They were to receive 360 pesos, 1 1/2 tomines.
