  6. Allred, p. 212 and 266, says Sally Pierce married Ebenezer Stockwell but has no marriage date, nor a death date for Ebenezer, only a death date for Sally Stockwell whose parents and age show she is Sally Piece. As she often does, Allred is forcing her to marry a person born in Warwick, even though he did not live there long after birth, and Allred has no actual evidence who the two participants married since she shows no marriage date. This appears to be entirely a guess based on Sally's surname being Stockwell when she died.
Ebenezer Stockwell m. Gill 1797 Abi (Holbrook) Lee and d. 1828 in Vermont survived by his wife Abi. He never married a woman named Sarah or Sally.
Now on p. 308, Allred suggest Sally Pierce became the second wife of Harvey Wood in Warwick in 1819, the marriage occurring in Warwick. Clearly this contradicts her other suggestion, but this one appears correct. Harvey Wood d. 1820, and Mrs. Sally Wood married in 1824 Henry Willard and had two children. He d. 1829, and Mrs Sally Willard m. Royalston 1831 Ziba Stockwell thus explaining the real reason for Sally's name in her death record. Ziba d. 1849 making wife Sally executrix of his will.
