    [Family 3.] RYNEAR HALL, ... was born May 5, 1788, and married Susannah Lowe, September 7, 1815. I got the following record from his son Jordan. written on his 61st birthday. Jordan lived at Parkersburgh. He is now dead, I believe. Rynear Hall's wife, Susannah Lowe, was connected with the large and respectable family of that name, who lived a few miles from Fairmont.

    I did not get the following from any member of this family: Rynear Hall and his family were Presbyterians, and used to go to Fairmont to the old log church there. He had twelve sons and two daughters. These were all baptized at one time, and people who heard of the affair, rode for miles to see it. The family would come to church on horseback, and the number of them put one in mind of a band of troopers. They lived about five miles from Fairmont. The farm is now owned by Nelson Hull. Here he lived, and died August 12, 1862. His wife died October 27, 1842. ...
