death notice-The Piqua Daily Call Ruth I. Dill, 97, of Piqua, died at 7:10 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2003 in the Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was bom in DeGraff on Aug. 28, 1905, the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Harmon) Schott. She was married to John Dill on Nov. 7,1925, and he died on Oct. 14,1987, being married nearly 62 years. She was a member of the Piqua Greene Street United Methodist Church, and was also active in the Y.W.C.A. and the Fiwelco Club. She was a sales lady for many years at the former J.W. Brown Store in Piqua. She is survived by one daughter, Norma Jean Herron of Los Angeles, Calif, and was preceded in death by a sister and a brother. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery. Suber Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Fletcher, is serving the family.
