Vital Records, 1754-1900, p. 7). Source:Tisdale, Robert L. Descendants of John Tisdale (1614-1675), Colonial Massachusetts indicates Ruth was the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Reed even though no such birth record is found. This is probably more likely since George's daughter would have just turned 15, much younger than typical marriages. Neither source explains the basis for its assertion.
