    Ruth, 97, of Holt, MI, passed away April 1, 2018.

    Ruth was active with the Holt Senior Center and was an avid outdoorsman. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, bowling, softball, and spending time with her family.

    Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, and her son, William.

    Surviving are her daughter, Diane (Charles) Dittenber; daughter-in-law, Nancy Wardwell; 5 grandchildren, Chuck Dittenber, Mike Dittenber, Matt (Kathryn) Wardwell, Tammi Wardwell, and Kelly (Matthew) Moyer; and 5 great-grand children, Jonathan, Maranda, Dale, Delaney, and Lleyton.

    The funeral service was held Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel. Burial took place in Union Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Senior Community Care of Michigan PACE, in memory of Ruth Wardwell.
