Ruth Irene Good Lewis, age 88 of McKinney, Texas passed away October 29, 2014 in Plano, Texas. She was born January 11, 1926 in Butler, Pennsylvania to Victor Andrew and Della (Lechner) Fry. Ruth married Harold A. Good, Jr. on May 6, 1943 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Harold passed away in 1976. She married William E. Lewis on August 1, 1981.
The most loving, caring, and supportive of mothers and grandmothers, she will be sorely missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Cherie) Shuler and husband Gary of Allen, Texas ; sons, Daryl G. Good and wife Kathy of Allen, Texas, Harold (Hal) A. Good, III of McKinney, Texas; step daughter Pam Welch and husband Scott of Glendale, Arizona; eleven grandchildren, Jerry Shuler, Ryan A. Good, Kymberly Good, April Good, Jessica Good, Kayla Good, Stephanie Shaw, Stacy Schott, Jennifer Alkaavi, Bradley Welch, and Kendra Welch; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Victoria (Vickie) Fry Dunbar of Pennsylvania, and Jean Buchanan of Colorado, and three brothers, Kenneth Fry and Raymond Fry of Pennsylvania, and Robert Fry of Florida.
Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold A. Good Jr., who passed away June 18, 1976; her second husband, William E. Lewis who passed away March of 2013 and one sister, Esther Thompson who passed away in April 2014.
