↑Source:Hazen, Henry Allen. History of Billerica, Massachusetts : With a Genealogical Register, p. 45 and 61, thinks Dr. Samuel Frost "prob. m. a 3d wife, Ruth ---". This appears to be assumption based on his death 1717/18 and the soon-after marriage of John Dutton in 1721 to Ruth Frost, who is otherwise an unknown person. There is no mention of Ruth in Dr. Samuel Frost's probate (Thomas Frost and Joseph Frost are administrators), but it only contains a bond and an inventory, so does not appear complete. Dr. Samuel Frost was almost 20 years older than John Dutton.
