Note that the transcribed Vital Records refer to this as the duplicate copy. However, the page it is on includes only 3 Eddy children (Samuel, Ruth and Jonathan), while page 24 includes all 7 children of Samuel and Elizabeth, born between 1728 and 1745, and would seem more likely to be a duplicate created later, If so, it appears that the day of birth of Jonathan (23) was accidentally copied for Ruth.
