Ruth N. (Drylie) Loughner, 88, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007. She was born Feb. 11, 1919, in Irwin, a daughter of the late David and Edna (Kistler) Drylie, and was also preceded in death by her husband, A. Grant Loughner; a daughter, Cathy Anne Leasure; a great-granddaughter; brother, Robert Drylie; and sister, Ethel Flynn Bogle. She was a retired registered nurse at Jeannette Hospital, a graduate of Braddock School of Nursing, a member of First United Methodist Church, Irwin, Dorcas Circle, Order of Eastern Star, Irwin Chapter 400, Manor Seniors and North Irwin Women's Club. Surviving are children, Ruth Lynne (Henry) Zona, of Lakeland, Fla., Helen Louise (Ed) Wertz, of Harrison City, and Jane (Craig) Monstrola, of Irwin; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Mary) Drylie and Dorothy (Hugh) Bridge, both of North Huntingdon; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin. 724-863-1200, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Richard Markle and her grandson, the Rev. David P. Zona, co-officiating.
