Russell was born about 1922 in Montana. He is likely the Russell W. Cramer (9 Jul 1921-24 May 2013) who died in Ontario, Oregon. He lived in Oregon in 1940, having moved there from Montana. There is a note in that Russell's online obituary/guest book from someone who moved from Montana to Oregon with the family. Ancestry's search results also seem to indicate that he lived in Ontario, Oregon from 1935 to 1992.

The Ancestry Public Tree cited has additional evidence that the Russell Cramer who died May 2013 was the son of Herman and Anna Cramer.
