  2. Rosemarie Linek-Williams, loving mother and matriarch, passed away on Thursday, January 15, at the age of 85. She is survived by Klaus Hille (son) and his wife Anita, Karola (daughter) and her husband Owen Finley, Jo Lena Carstensen (daughter), ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Anneliese Dengel and brother Peter Botsch, both of Germany. Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by husbands R. Artur Hille, Edward J. Linek, and Harold L. Williams. Mrs. Williams was born in Bottrop, Germany. She worked as a Red Cross nurse, served as a community nurse, and cared for numerous foster children in her home in Glauberg, Germany. Commitment, caring and compassion were her guiding principles in her calling as a nurse and care giver. As the wife of MSgt. Edward J. Linek, U.S. Army, she came to the United States in 1959. In El Paso she worked in Hotel Dieu and Providence Hospital, and for several families in the community as a private nurse. The family is grateful to, and thanks the St. Michael Catholic Community of Fort Bliss for the many prayers offered for our "Oma." We also thank the care givers of Comfort Keepers and Cima Hospice. They provided compassionate, professional care for our mother, and comforting support to all of us. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, a contribution to Cima Hospice (915-778-1222) in memory of Rosemarie Williams.
