[Note: See also p. 399. The marriage to Keziah Bearse is 24 Dec 1767, before any of the children are born, and she was his widow. PR157=Jennings family record in possession of Mrs. Sarah E. Bosworth of Pembroke. The resolution of discrepancy with the baptism is unknown. There is time after the marriage to allow for the birth of a Rose who died, making this the second daughter of the name, in which case this is the survivor. Or it could be that one of the dates is misrecorded and both events refer to the same child. If the latter is true, since it appears the births were recorded as a group after the fact, one would suspect the church records are correct, and therefore that the birth occurred in 1768?]
