Notes Bram Funeral Home Record: EDWARDS, Rose A. dob: 31 Jan 1877 dod: 20 Apr 1948 Widow - [husbane] Aaron B. Edwards P[arents]: Greenberry & Emeline Teagarden Hill Occupation: Housewife Burial: 22 Apr 1948, Pleasant Ridge Cemetary Obituary Mrs. Aaron B. Edwards Rose Alice Hill was born January 31, 1877, the daughter of Greenberry and Emaline Hill. After an illness of several weeks she passed away April 20, 1948 at her family home at the age of 71. As a girl she attended and graduated from Kidder Institute at Kidder. For several years thereafter she taught in rural schools near her home. In 1912 she was married to Aaron B. Edwards. They were the parents of two daughters, Naomi and Elizabeth, who survive. Her husband preceded her in death by four years. One of a family of eleven children, she is survived by the oldest and the youngest of the family--Mrs. J. H. Connor and Abe Hill of Hamilton, and by a second sister, Mrs. Charles Bradley of Colorado Springs, Colorado. In her youth Mrs. Edwards became a member of the Church of Christ and throughout the years she remained a faithful member. Her family, her home and her church--these were her loyalties--her life. For these she worked patiently, quietly, unselfishly. For these she lived and worked with courage and serenity, industry and self-reliance, intellegence and reserve-- qualities which enlarge the void at her going, and which will make her memory increasingly revered with love and pride. The funeral service was held Thursday morning, April 22 at the Bram Funeral Home, conducted by the pastor, Rev. James Heath. Interment was made in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetary. References
