    A transcription of his will:

    In the name of God Amen
    The Twenty sixth day of Aprill One thousand seaven hundred according to the computation of the Church of England I Roger Beversely of the Parish of Treveyloes in the County of Montgomery and Dioces of Bangor being of perfect memory praised - - - - be God Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following First I commend my soule to God my Maker hopeing through the meritorious death and passion of Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer to receive full and free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins And as for my body to be buryed in Christian manner in the parish church of Treweyloes according to the discretion of my Executors hereafter nominated Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary the Wife of Edward Jarman the sum of Twenty and five pounds Item I give and bequeath to Richard the son of Edward Jarman the sum of twenty pounds  Item I give and bequeath to Edward the son of Edward Jarman the sume of twenty pounds  Item I give and bequeath to Daniel the son of Edward Jarman the sume of Twenty pounds Item I give and bequeath to Elizabeth the Wife of Thomas Meredith the sume of Ten pounds  Item I give unto Meredith Thomas Ten pounds  Item I give unto Roger Thomas Ten pounds  Item I give unto John Thomas Ten pounds  Item I give unto Edward Thomas Ten pounds  Item I give unto Anne Thomas Ten pounds  Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth the Wife of William Herbert the sume of Five pounds  Item I give unto Mary the Wife of John Ashton the sume of seaven pounds Ten shillings  Item I give unto Richard the son of John Richard the sume of Fifty shillings Item I give unto my daughter Joane the Wife of John Jarman all my Cattle and all my corne in the ground and out of the ground and all the implements of husbandry and to enjoy the bargaine that I have of the Tenement where I live and two tables boards and our Coffer  Item all the rest of my householdstuffe whatsoever I give unto my daughters Mary and Joane and Elizabeth Herbert to be equally divided between them  Item I leave Ten pounds towards my buryall and my will and pleasure is that all these said legacies be paid within the space of one yeare after my decease  And lastly I doe nominate and appoint Edward Jarman and Thomas Meredith to be my Executors joyntly of this my last Will and Testament revoking and makeing void all other former Wills and Testaments by me made  In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale the day and yeare first within written.
