    "Robert Pierrepont, 2d son, born June 13, 1757, at New Haven, Conn. … Robert removed with his wife and five daughters to Manchester, Vermont, about 1795, and resided there for the remainder of his life. His wife Lois, died at Manchester, Vt., May 5, 1826. He died at Plattsburgh, N. Y., where he had been visiting his daughter Laura, (Mrs. Anson Sperry), August 16, 1835. He and his wife are both buried at Manchester, Vt."
