The Nickerson Family Association identified the third son of Thomas and Alice 'as Richard, baptized in St. Peter Parmentergate on 6 March 1569/70. But the register entry gives the name as Robert.'
'Thomas's will, dated 21 May and proved on 4 June 1597, identifies him as a haberdasher and resident of that parish. His wife Grace and a son Robert were named as co-executrix/executor, suggesting that the latter was at least 21 years old as of 1597. He is probably the Robert baptized in St. Peter Parmentergate on 6 March 1569/70.'
