    "Robert Morse, of Stoke by Nayland, co. Suffolk, husbandman, the testator of 1551, died between 5 Oct. 1551, when his will was dated, and 15 Sept. 1552, when it was proved. … His father, whose Christian name is unknown, was probably living at Stoke by Nayland about 1490; and William Morse, who was taxed at Stoke by Nayland 1s. 6d., on property valued at £3, in the subsidy of 1524-25, was perhaps his (Robert Morse's) brother."
