1 Robert Mason, was born in England about the year 1590. ~~He was probably one of John Winthrop's Company which settled the town of Roxbury in 1630~~ [Anderson finds no record of him in New England before 1636]. His wife died at Roxbury in April, 1637. He moved to Dedham, Mass. and was an original land holder there in 1642. Died there in 1667, October 15th.
↑ Robert Charles Anderson did not include Robert Mason in either The Great Migration Begins or The Great Migration. That indicates that there is no credible record of his being in New England prior to 1636.
