"4. "Robert⁵ Fairchild, (Curtis⁴, Samuel³, Thomas^2-1), was born 16 Jan. 1738 at either Middletown or Durham CT … he was a justice in Stratford in 1780. Robert Fairchild was listed in Pawling in 1790 at 1-1-3 and was between John Hoag the 2nd and Jonathan Burtch. Robert Fairchild died 15 November 1794, age 57 years … Robert Fairchild is alleged to have returned to New Haven from Pawling and to have died there."
