DUFFY ROBERT W. On Wednesday, August 29, 2001, Robert W. Duffy, 79, beloved husband of 52 years, of Patricia (Riley) Duffy of Ben Avon. Also survived by loving children, Bob Duffy & his wife Pat (Donaldson), Candi Blazier & her husband Bill & Darlene Ward & her husband John; grandchildren, Dawn (Blazier) Fischer & her husband Mike, Amanda (Blazier) Beggy & her husband John, Abby Ward, Julie Ward, and Jennifer Ward; great-grandchildren, Michael Fischer, Jr., Madelyn Fischer & Jack Beggy; a brother, Ab Duffy & his wife Lila; sisters, Minnie Duffy, Irene Brown & her husband Ed, Velma Birch & her husband Ralph; brothers-in-law, Fritz Riley, Richard Riley & his wife Mickey, Tom Riley & his wife Bette Jean; and by many nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Irene Duffy and by George Riley, Mary & Charles Muecklisch and Ruth & Al Jacob. Mr. Duffy was a retired truck driver and a member of Teamsters Union, Local #249. During WWII he served with the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater. Friends invited Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in THE ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC. A GOLDEN RULE MEMBER FIRM. 1014 California Avenue Avalon, (North Boros). Funeral Service on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in All Saints Episcopal Church, McClure at Davis Avenues, Brighton Heights.
